CDP REC 16th release, Tree Bark is starring the Puerto Rican DJ and producer Emiliano Martini, known as one of the Caribbean's leading DJs and identified as a House/Techno producer with a truly global appeal. Tree Bark EP is an amazing demonstration of Emiliano's ability to reunite his wide music roots in the same release, such as minimal, house, deep tech, Latin music, new age, disco or jazz, and at the same time still unveiling a really coherent and strong artistic touch. The first track, Shallow body is a fine-drawn balance between a round peachy bass with dissonant harmonies, organic drums, a pinch of chorus, and dissonant leads and pads. Next comes Tree Bark, more abstract and organic than the first track, and also more electric. To top it off, Urban Poetry carries us away in a very deep atmosphere, with a solid 4/4 drum, and mesmerizing vocals in Spanish.
